Checklist templates
Checklist templates turn a repeatable process into a private to-do list for each wedding. They are designed for your own workflow: legal steps, planning calls, supplier checks, delivery milestones, post-wedding work, or anything else you need to complete consistently.
Open Checklists in the vendor sidebar to create and manage templates.
Create a template
Section titled “Create a template”Choose New template, give it a name, and edit the supplied starter checklist. The editor uses simple Markdown:
## Section namecreates a section.- [ ] Taskcreates an incomplete item.- [x] Taskcreates a completed item.
The preview and item count update from that text. You can create several templates for different services or booking types. Only one can be the default.
Enable Deploy automatically when a new wedding is created to make a template the default. If another template was already the default, Wedding Computer unsets it.
How deployment works
Section titled “How deployment works”When you create a wedding and a default template exists, Wedding Computer copies its current text into that wedding’s checklist. The wedding receives a copy, not a live link: editing the template later does not rewrite existing weddings.
If a wedding does not yet have a checklist, open the wedding and use its Checklist section to deploy any of your templates or start with a blank list. Inside the wedding you can tick items, add or remove tasks, and edit the raw Markdown. Progress also appears on your vendor dashboard.
Deleting a template does not delete checklists that were already copied to weddings.
Visibility and permissions
Section titled “Visibility and permissions”A wedding checklist belongs to the vendor account that created it. The couple, other vendors, and even the managing vendor do not see your checklist through the shared workspace. Each vendor can keep a separate checklist for the same wedding.
Checklist changes require a signed-in vendor session, are scoped to that vendor and wedding, and are protected like other account changes. When connected storage or an export is used, the checklist is represented as readable plain text.
Do not put passwords, card details, identity documents, or other secrets in a checklist. Treat it as business workflow data even though it is not shared with the wedding team.
Plan availability
Section titled “Plan availability”Checklist templates and per-wedding checklists have no separate Pro gate. Weddings created by a free vendor still count toward that vendor’s 12 active-wedding allowance; a wedding you join by invitation does not use one of your creator slots.
