Video emails
Video emails let you answer an enquiry with a short, personal video without leaving Wedding Computer. Start from the contact or the incoming email so the recipient and conversation stay connected.
Send a video email
Section titled “Send a video email”- Open a CRM contact with an email address, or open an incoming email.
- Select Record a video email.
- Allow camera and microphone access to record in your browser, or choose a video already on your device.
- Add an email subject and a short note, then select Send video email.
The recipient gets a lightweight email with a preview and a Play video button. The button opens a mobile-friendly viewing page; the video is not attached to the email. If the recipient already has a Wedding Computer account, the same message also appears on their dashboard until they dismiss it.
Sent and unfinished videos appear under Video emails in Wedding Computer. A video that is still processing can be left there while you do something else; return later to finish the note and send it.
Allowances and length
Section titled “Allowances and length”| Plan | Allowance | Maximum length |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 video emails in total | 1 minute each |
| Pro | 5 video emails each billing month | 1 minute each |
| Pro with video emails | Unlimited | 3 minutes each |
Discard an unfinished video if you no longer intend to send it. See Free vs Pro for the wider plan comparison and the live pricing link.
Privacy, viewing, and deletion
Section titled “Privacy, viewing, and deletion”Video files use private, signed playback and the viewing pages are excluded from search engines. The unique viewing link works without a Wedding Computer account, so treat it like any other private share link: send it only to the intended recipient and remember that they could forward it.
The video file and playback link expire automatically after 90 days. The email record and note remain in the normal conversation history, but the video can no longer be played after deletion. A couple who uses Wedding Computer may also dismiss the dashboard copy before then.
Record on a phone
Section titled “Record on a phone”Use a current version of Safari or Chrome. Allow camera and microphone access, and keep the page open while the recording uploads. If browser recording is unavailable, choose a video from your camera roll instead.
If something goes wrong:
- Camera or microphone is blocked: allow access in the browser or device settings, then reload the page.
- This browser cannot record: choose an existing video from the device.
- The video is too long: record or trim it to the limit shown for your plan.
- The upload is processing: you can leave the page and return through Video emails.
- Sending fails: the prepared video is kept so you can try sending again.
