Who owns your wedding information?
Section titled “Who owns your wedding information?”You do. Wedding Computer is a platform that stores your data — it doesn’t claim ownership of your content, and your data is exportable in full at any time.
The vendors on your wedding have access only to the wedding workspace they’ve been invited to. They can’t see your other weddings (if you create multiple, e.g. for different events), your account settings, or any data outside the shared workspace.
Who can see your wedding details?
Section titled “Who can see your wedding details?”The couple — both partners with accounts can see the timeline, shared notes, the vendor team, invoices addressed to them, and files. Notes set to “vendors-only” by a vendor are not visible to the couple — those are internal vendor notes.
Vendors — each vendor on the wedding sees the shared run sheet (all non-private items), shared and vendors-only notes, files uploaded to the shared document library, and the vendor team list. They cannot see each other’s invoices, each other’s private notes, or your couple-only notes.
Your planner or venue (if they’re the managing vendor) — they have the same access as other vendors, plus the ability to manage the timeline and approve changes from other vendors. They cannot see your couple-only notes.
No one else. Your workspace is private. It’s not publicly searchable, and uninvited people can’t access it.
Can you hide notes from vendors?
Section titled “Can you hide notes from vendors?”Yes. When writing a note, set the visibility to Couple. Only members with a couple role (you and your partner) can see it. Use this for budget discussions, personal concerns, or anything you want to stay between the two of you.
Vendors’ private notes work the same way in reverse — some vendor notes are set to private and you won’t see them. This is intentional: vendors use private notes for their own internal preparation notes.
Can vendors see your budget?
Section titled “Can vendors see your budget?”There’s no budget field in Wedding Computer — it doesn’t have a budget tracking feature. If you’ve written your budget in the notes section, its visibility depends on which scope you chose. Set notes to Couple to keep them private from vendors.
Your vendors can see the invoices they’ve sent you, but not other vendors’ invoices or any overall budget number.
Can vendors see your guest list?
Section titled “Can vendors see your guest list?”There is no guest list feature in Wedding Computer — see Guests & family for an explanation of what is and isn’t available. The guest count (a number) is visible as part of the wedding details, but there’s no list of names, RSVPs, or dietary information.
Can vendors see documents you upload?
Section titled “Can vendors see documents you upload?”Files uploaded to the shared document library are visible to all members of the workspace. If you upload something you only want you and your partner to see, put it in your couple-only notes instead (you can attach text descriptions or links there, though file uploads go to the shared library).
Vendors can upload documents too — anything they upload to the shared library is visible to all members, including you.
Can you remove a vendor from your workspace?
Section titled “Can you remove a vendor from your workspace?”Yes. Go to your workspace → People → select the vendor → Remove. Removed vendors immediately lose access to the workspace, the run sheet, the notes, and all files. Their timeline items remain visible to other members (they become “unassigned” items).
Can you delete your account and wedding data?
Section titled “Can you delete your account and wedding data?”Yes. You can request account deletion from your account settings. When you delete your account:
- Your couple account and personal information are removed
- Your access to the wedding workspace is removed
If you want a copy of your data before deleting, export the run sheet as a PDF first (Timeline → Export → Print run sheet (PDF)), and download any important documents from the files section.
Note: the wedding workspace itself (created and managed by your vendor or planner) continues to exist for them after you delete your couple account. If you want the workspace itself removed, ask the vendor who created it to delete it from their side.
Is your wedding data used for advertising?
Section titled “Is your wedding data used for advertising?”No. Wedding Computer does not use your data for advertising, does not sell your information, and does not track you across the web. There are no Facebook Pixels, Google Ads tags, or third-party advertising scripts on any Wedding Computer page.
